In the case of Khachatryan v Armenia the applicants complained that as a result of the non-enforcement of the court judgment given in their favor there were violated Article 6 § 1 and Article 1 of Protocol 1 of European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The European Court of Human Rights in its judgment of 1 December 2009 found violation of Article 6 § 1 and Article 1 of Protocol 1 of European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and obliged the respondent State to pay 365 euros to the first applicant and 380 euros to the second applicant in respect of pecuniary damage and 1,000 euros to both of the applicants in respect of non-pecuniary damage.
