INTERIGHTS' manual on prohibition of discrimination under Article 14 of the European Convention of Human Rights is now available online on our website. You can download the latest version of the manual in Russian language. This manual has been designed by INTERIGHTS' Europe Programme for its training projects in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Its purpose is to provide a reference practicing lawyers and other legal professionals. The manual includes judgments of the European Court of Human Rights up to 30 June 2009. |

On 12 May 2004 the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe has approved Protocol 14 of the European Convention on Human Rights and on the same day it was open for signature by Member States of the Convention. As the Protocol called for changes in the procedure of the control mechanisms of the Council of Europe, the text of thereto had to be ratified by all Member States before entering it into force. On 15 January 2010 Russian Federation, the last of 47 Member States of the Convention, has ratified the Protocol, which will thus enter into force on 1 May 2010. You can download the manual in English or in Armenian. The latest version of Interights manual now also available in Russian language (version of September 2007). This manual has been designed by INTERIGHTS' Europe Programme for its training projects in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Its purpose is to provide a reference practising lawyers and other legal professionals. The manual is formatted so that it can be updated periodically on INTERIGHTS' website. The manual includes judgments of the European Court of Human Rights up to September 2007. |
